Alex Fera Runnig for Novi City Council

Alex is a bright young Libertarian and has in his short time since joining the LP become quite active in our local affilate. Whatever you can do to help Alex make a difference in promitng a libertarian society in the city of Novi would be appreciated. Their city council is a non-partisan posistion, but he makes no bones on where his affiliations lie. Like the page, volunteer, and help us experience libertarianism in our lifetime.

Boman Running for Detroit City Clerk

In the late morning of May 13th candidate for City Clerk of Detroit, Scotty Boman, submitted double the required amount of petition signatures to the City Clerk’s office. Boman, a native Detroiter and current math and science professor at Wayne County Community College District has said that he knows Detroiters are fed up with the corruption and waste in the City.

“We have had over 40 years of politicians using Detroit’s coffers as personal bank accounts… Detroit and Detroiters have had enough. It’s time for real accountability in public office in this city,” Boman said. Libertarians on ballot in Kentwood

Libertarian Party of West Michigan members William R. Wenzel and Erwin Haas are on the ballot for City Commissioner of Kentwood. Wenzel is a candidate for City Commissioner - Ward 1 in the August 6th Primary. Haas is a candidate for City Commissioner - Ward 2 in the November 5th General Election. Thank you both for running. Robert Nicholls Placed 3^rd in 27^th District State Senate Race. This was a special election. His campaign manager Jim Fulner commented, "Big Government won again. But we had some fun, Rob said he learned a lot in a very short amount of time and is willing to do it again."
